I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. Somehow I've activated something where I get multiple characters when typing. For instance, I type the letter k and I get a k and a 9, or if I type the letter f or the number 7, I'll get extra characters. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. (Though it keeps installing multiple sets of different drivers. Three of four have the same identifying name - eHome something or other.

I'm in notebook hell......somebody please rescue me! :(

Just a guess for ya try going to control panel and open the keyboard options and reset your settings

This is assuming you did not spill anything on your keyboard :)
