When I had my older dv2000t I noticed that after a few days of use that after I closed the lid that the keyboard had scratched my monitor.

Is this a design flaw or simply just a mis-construction of my laptop?

I'm wondering because I just ordered a dv2500t and I don't want the same thing happening again.

If it does happen the warranty should cover it right?

I know its kind of a frivolous thing but it does obstruct the screen a lot.

Your keyboard might not be fitted in properly, this has happened to a few people.

The keyboard might be sticking out more than usual. Get a ruler and let it rest across the keyboard to see if it is straight. Also compare to other photos how much it sticks out
