Keys work intermittently on my dv6, specifically t he brightness and sound keys.

It seems like whenever i boot up from hibernate the brightness keys wont ever work. I have to manually go change the brightness in power settings.

And at times the sound keys also stop working. I see the on screen display pop up when i manually change them, so i know theyre working. But its frustrating cause they stop working at times.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

There are some issues like this. I've also had this issue. It's gone away, though. When hibernating, make sure the whole systems turns off before closing the lid. That may be what the problem is. It probably has an issue with hibernating and closing the lid before the laptop turns off.
