Go to http://www.kingston.com/asia/verifynew/ to verify if your Kingston memory module is authentic. I registered my 2 x 2GB DDR2 SODIMM memory modules I bought over Ebay.

This is the email I got...

This is interesting, I've never heard of any memory actually doing this verification. Do you know if it's only for Kingston, or do any other memory manufacturers do this as well?

I cant seem to find the serial number on the packaging it came with. Do i have to take out the RAM to see these?

Im pretty sure its authentic since we got it from the same seller.

Sandisk does authentication over the net too. Most memory companys do it due to fake flash memorys all over the net

Flipfire: The serial numbers are on the label on each of the memory modules. Yes, I did open the memory compartment to get to them.
