    would this also work for the envy 14? I really hate how the power cord sticks out from the side and I'm considering getting this

    why do people get a completely new charger for the right angle when it is much cheaper to just get this converter? would this converter damage the battery in any way? :confused:

    No, it wouldn't have any effect on the battery or any component in the notebook. All it does is change the angle of the power input.

    It should have the same connector as the E14. I'm using it on a DV5.

    You modified it? What exactly does that mean? I'm going to buy one if it works out of the box, or if the modification is simple.

    The non-right power adapter is annoying.

    Sorry for the posting sooner. I bought the LC90 from the link I posted. I modified them with an exacto knife to remove about 1/16 to 1/8 inch of plastic material to make the plug fit into the laptop completely.

    yes it works for the envy 14. you need to cut it to make it fit though.
