I have just bought a DV6-6157sf after my old HP bailed on me because of the DC In connector in the back: it started wiggling until it would not charge the pc anymore. It happened twice to me and happened also to a few other people I know.

I don't understand why they keep making the cords ending with straight jacks which are subjected to unnecessary stress.

Since it is something that HP hasn't figured out and because of my previous experiences, I want to get an L shaped power cord, or if it exists an L-shaped adapter to plug in at the end of the existing cord.

Any suggestion on where I can find them?

Yes, I am! Thank you. I have bought one right away. It should be a standard design...
