I have two questions for you guys,

    1) on the 6 cell how much average battery life are you getting? before undervolting? after undervolting?

    2) Did you get a zipper bag with the package? what it that for? can you fit the laptop in it?

    thanx

I have V2000z, same as L2000. And you might have read, some of the/many of L2000/V2000z came with low capacity 6-cell battery.( It looks like random).

One is 10.8v 4000mAHr and another one is 10.8v 4400mAHr.
In mine I got 4000mAHr battery, so I loose about 15-20 min battery life. Currently I am getting around 2:50min( after 5 months of use) for web browsing, downloads etc using wireless, with brightness at level 2.

Get around 2:30min for DVD playback at level 3-4 brightness.

Undervolting made only 5 min difference for battery life for typical browsing, as processor is always at 800Mhz, it hardly makes any difference. But it makes lot difference if processor is running with load, something like video/image encoding/editing etc.

Undervolting helps more so in heat. While browsing on battery my fan never turns on( my Bios F13).

Had I got 4400mAHr, I would probably got around 3:10min of battery life.

The zipper bag is nice but I like better the wrist-band :)
