    L2105CA gone from hpshopping.ca & hp.ca

    I just checked this out today because BestBuy.ca was sold out. So I thought of checking out www.hp.ca and they didn't have the L2105CA in their lineup. The same goes in www.hpshopping.ca. Anyone know what's going on? Is the L2105CA being discontinued or is it in the process of being upgraded?

    It's sad HP Canada does not offer customizable models. Why don't you try some v2000z model, it is literally the same except for the color.
    I think L2105CA is just sold out for the moment

    Yes. It's sad they don't offer customizable models. It also seems that they don't have student discounts. Only the US site seem to do these.

    Actually I want to get the Lance Armstrong edition more than the v2000z. The colour is better and you get the chance to help a good cause. Also, all the versions of the v2000z here in Canada only have a 4200rpm HD, which is not good enough for me. Actually, it seems that all the newly released HP & Compaq notebooks here in Canada only have 4200rpm HDs. This is really busting my balls! :mad: I just hope HP Canada is not completely sold out of L2105CA.

    You might try calling them. A call may yield better results than just looking on the website. Could be they still have a few lying around that they would sell to you even if they are not officially on the market any more.
