    If you have had any experience with using the eBay retailers for LCD replacement please comment. Are the LCD's good, bad, ugly? Any experience please comment.

    If you have a favorite (or not) vendor please state.

    Search has gone the way of floppy drives I see.

    Okay, so I purchased Item # 170257413107 on ebay.

    HP Pavilion DV9000 17 WXGA Glossy LCD B170PW03
    HP Pavilion DV9000 17 WXGA Glossy LCD 432952-001

    I was a little hesitant because the description said might have some minor scratches, but it was the cheapest on there. I am extremely impressed. It was packaged well, and not a single scratch, dead pixel, or blemish on it.

    As I said it was packaged very well to prevent damage, and looks brand new. No issues.
