    Hi -

Does anyone know what brand of LCD were used it this series of laptops?

    Here's my problem:

I need to replace my screen. According to the service manual it came with 3 different 15.4" LCDs. WXGA (easy enough to find), WSXGA (350216-001), & WUXGA (350217-001). HP does not sell those part #s anymore, and they will not tell me who the OEM manufacturer is, nvermind the OEM part #. Neither will lcd4less.com nor screentekinc.com. They just tell me they have a compatible one, but won't give me any details which is kind of shady.

The original LCD in my laptop was an LG LP154W01, which is an WXGA. I want to upgrade it to WSXGA while I'm at it. (not recommended...I know) I would prefer WUXGA, but I kind of doubt that it will work. LG has a part # LP154W02 on their website which is a WSXGA, & I think it's safe to assume it is the same one HP probably used in their WSXGA line.

    Well, that's my story.

So...Does anyone know or remember what LCDs were used in these laptops? (maybe you tore yours apart) I'm mostly interested in the WSXGA & WUXGA screens...

Thanks for even reading the whole thing.
