Greetings - I thought I saw something in the last two-to-three weeks about HP offering an LED backlit LCD on (I think) the 9000's later this year - but I have been unable to locate the source. Has anyone heard about this or have any additional info? Hopefully they will offer a newer/faster graphics card too - maybe a 7700?? (I know - 7700 doesn't support DX10 - no problemo for me...) TIA

Both Apple and HP announced at CES 2007 that they'll be offering LED LCDs for their high end models. It'll likely provide better screen quality at the expense of battery life. With the Santa Rosa refresh, I wouldn't be surprised if HP offered the 8600 Go for the dv9000t (DX 10 card).
