    Hi everyone,

I have a new problem that has me utterly lost. All of a sudden, for whatever reason, my battery refuses to charge. The only way to turn my computer on and keep it on is by always having the ac adapter plugged in. As soon as I take the plug out of the computer, it shuts down. On the bottom right hand side, the power icon says "0%, plugged in, not charging". I have never dealt with an issue like this. I first thought the battery might be dead, so I ran "Battery Mon" to try to confirm this. Weird thing is, I got a total flatline......no specs/stats/NOTHING. I would think if it was a messed up battery, I would still get SOME kind of reading, but the diagnostics test pulls up nothing, as if the battery isn't even in. It reads it as in ofcourse, but other then that, theres absolutely zero info, just a complete flat line. This makes me wonder if its something internal? How about the ac adapter maybe? Yeah, so, I have no idea what to do. I'm in Japan with little options (and little money :() so I cant go buying new batteries/adapters/etc when I don't even know if thats the problem. Ugh.....anyway, whatever you guys think would help me out tremendously. Thanks

BTW: I tried the power button static clearing thing as well. No luck.....
