Its here and I love it, looks good, screen is nice. I'm not used to widescreen actually because I've been living in 4:3 for so long but its definately all good. Keyboard feels really natural, I'm going to need a few accessories like an external mouse and all I didn't know right away there were no ps/2 ports haha. I also dont think it is very heavy, I had it sitting on my lap for a few minutes when I first got it(bad or not?). I love how quiet it is, I found myself actually listening to hear it run. I just wish SOO badly I could have afforded the integrated wireless, a bigger drive, and more RAM so I could totaly rule but I'm so thankful it got here in good condition.

OK now I want to know about taking care of it, monitoring cpu/hdd temperature and stuff like that. I want to be able to keep this the next few years so please help me out. What concerns should I have, anything I should be particulary wary of? Do I need to undervolt it(dont even know how). Just general upkeep and maintenance.

    You guys have been great,
    Thanks

AMDs down clock the CPU when you aren't doing anything too intensive. It is called PowerNow. Notebook Hardware Control will monitor CPU and hard drive temp. You should get a screen cleaner. A microfiber cloth and some solution cause you want to be carefull with your screen.

You might also want to pick up a kit for $5 from Office Depot or somewhere like that for cleaning the keyboard. I was always really careful with mykeyboard, but they keys got dirty anyway, and this kit will do a good job of cleaining stuff up.
