Anyone else having a similar problem? When my laptop is plugged into AC power, and I decide to move to another room and unplug it, the laptop suddenly freezes. All the programs do not respond and the only way to fix it is to reboot.

HP tech is trying to help my by telling me to test the battery life and resetting the bios, however this laptop is only 2 months old and I had the problem since the begining.

    Its a dv3 Pavilion.

Anyone else with this problem? Or hear of this problem before and know what is causing it?

    Thank you so much
