It all started when I was playing a game (Splinter Cell Conviction) and the game froze. Then I got the message "Display Driver nvlddmkm stopped responding, has successfully recovered", but it didnt recover. The screen continued to flicker and the I was forced to restart it by the power button.

I did a system restore, uninstalled the game. Everything worked fine until it happened again after a day.

I suspect that it happens if the graphic card works hard, but now happens even when I'm watching a video. If the screen starts to flicker a little, I immediately shut down my pc, because if I let it on, the screen becomes messy and fuc**ed up.
I installed the latest drivers from nVidia and from the HP site, but didnt work

Any solution guys? Its a corrupted driver? Vista problem? Or a hardware problem (I hope not)

I think I already know the answer to this, but what video card is in it?
