For the last month, my AMD based Compaq v6000 developed an issue where only other power-up would work. Half of the time, after pressing the power-on the card reader LED would stay on and remain so, which meant laptop will not start. I needed either to wait 20sec for it to reset itself or do it manually and hope next time the LED will go off after 1-2sec from power-up (as it should be) and laptop starts.

Since yesterday, it no longer works and LED stays on all the time and laptop does not power up. Do you have any remedy for that, except replacing the MOBO?
