    I have a quick question: I own an HP Dv6500T with Nvidia's 8400 M GS ...
the latest nvidia drivers found here
    ( http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16152)
suports the "[DEV_0404] NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS"... ----->> I notice that the letter "M" is missing from the 8400...

i was wondering if this driver will work with my card... or will it not?

Is there is a difference between M GS and the GS....

The M Gs and the gs are different because the latter is a desktop part so runs better but uses more power and the former is the mobile version. And I think you double posted.

You will have to use the modded inf to get support for mobile GPU's Nvidia natively removes support for mobile GPU's even if the drivers are universal and are perfectly capable of supporting mobile GPU's.
