Is there a larger power supply for the DV6? The one that comes with it is 120W. With overclock at peak it's drawing 125W from the wall. While I know there are inefficiencies in the PSU, so actual draw from the laptop is probably ~ 80% of that, but still it's gotta be pushing the limit of the PSU. Is there like a 180W or anything?

How did you measure he 125W power load? I'm actually very curious to measure how much mine is drawing as well.

I've looked around and haven't found anything higher than the 120W.
Universal power supply is only 90W max from the few that I've seen.

Meh, seems only stress testing with Prime95 and Kombustor peaks it at about 125W, gaming doesn't seem to exceed 100W. I should be good.

To measure I use a "Kill A Watt" meter: http://www.amazon.com/P3-International-P4400-Electricity-Monitor/dp/B00009MDBU

I hook it up to an extension cord and the laptop power supply to the kill a watt and set it on my desk next to me so I can monitor it. Only issue with this device is it doesn't have a "peak" save feature, so you kinda have to glance at it while using it to see actual usage.
