    Larger batteries, how does it fit in your bag?

    Whole day, no reply in accessories forum so I'll try here. How well does a laptop fit if you buy a larger battery. I might repurchase a dv5t with a 12cell battery, but i'm wondering how this will do for my accessories? Mainly my bag but also how does this affect having it on my cooler. My OGIO messenger bag can fit up to 17". It fit the dv5t pretty well, there was extra space lengthwise.

    Anyway, since the 12cell sticks out, how will it do when i put it in the bag?

    I talked to someone at HP today. I don't know how accurate this info. is, but I'll tell you what he told me. He said the 12 cell will fit in the battery slot of the DV5T exactly like the 6 cell, only difference will be a .25" lift. He said the battery will not stick out the back or sides. If you want to hold off for a more definitive answer, I'm about to return mine and get another one with the 12.
