    I want to purchase this laptop,this configuration is not available anywhere to compare it to so if someone can let me know if it is a good deal. Also will I be able to play games on it, if so what kind. I am not into COD or Crysis but how about Mass effect? Thank you

    I'm not in the US market, so I really can't comment on the price that much, to me it looks good...

    mass affect should run decent. 4650HP is a solid card and is capable of playing crysis at a decent rate. I'm impressed that a top bin AMD M640 2.6Ghz CPU can be had for so little.

    At this price, buy the new Envy 15 with i5, if you are in the US, then wait for HP coupon, they release it on regular basis.

    Yes I am in the US. Thank you for your answers, I was just going with this because of the payment option. I was looking at the envy 15 but I like the bigger screen of the dv7, I know the envy has a nicer screen though. I missed out on the last $300 coupon and really need a laptop soon, I just sold my macbook.
