I've been hearing of some Linux OS's overheating the CPU because of some driver issues. Here's the link to the first problem I saw: http://iowacity.craigslist.org/sys/1192644300.html
Anyone have any problems like this? Trying to run PC Linux 2009. Let me know.

That laptops run really hot and chances are the guy that owned it never cleaned the fans or replaced the thermal paste. Thats a hardware problem and software cant even operate the fans on that laptop. The fans are controlled by the bios not the OS. I used to have of thoes laptops.
