    Well while doing no 3d intensive task you should be alright with those clocks and then it'll scale up accordingly. Having it at a constant higher clock might eventually cause damage to it. But if you truly want to I use MSI Afterburner to overclock and once you overclock it locks the gpu frequencies until you set it back to the default clocks.

    Simple.. just use Catalyst 12.3. :D

    another way is to enable Unofficial Overclocking mode 2 in MSI Afterburner.
