    Hey fellas,

I got my HP dv6t qe April and everything has been working fine until a few days ago. My entire computer began to freeze and lockup regardless of what I do. Barely anything responds, and BSOD began popping up. (but it's not like it matters since I can't get it to do anything in the first place)

This problem is sporadic, sometimes everything runs smoothly, and sometimes everything goes to hell. I was able to recreate the lockups and crashes in both integrated and dedicated graphics cards. Sometimes even booting up is problematic.

I just finished restoring the computer to factory settings, but the problems persist. No BSOD yet though.

Does this sound like anything you guys are experiencing as well?

    Thanks everybody

*I will post up the error code as soon as I can recreate the BSOD*

I get those every once in awhile. Though I isolated mine to being due to a faulty OEM software installation with the graphics driver. As long as I was using the factory image, I could not update graphics drivers nor even use my blu-ray drive for watching BD movies. BSOD occured hit and miss as I switched manually between adapters. For yuks and giggles, I switched to a clean OS install and the problem cleared right up. Blu-ray disk play with no issues.
