    Hi,

I am currently having a problem connecting Logitech mice. This includes both the Marathon Mouse M705 and the Laptop Mouse M505. Both mice work perfectly fine in other computer, and until I did a Windows 7 x64 fresh install, it was working fine on the current laptop too.

I have tried uninstalling the device/drivers through device manager and reinstall. No luck. I have tried to install the Logitech SetPoint software and it wouldn't recognize the Unifying Receiver. Under device manager however, when the receiver is plugged in, I see "HID-Compliant Mouse" pop up and is shown as "This device is working properly". So the receiver is detected just fine, but the mouse just won't work! Again, it works perfectly fine in other computers.

Any help is appreciated! I refuse to play my games on a mouse pad =_=; Thank you.

Edit: Mouse works perfectly fine on safe mode. Clearly a software problem.
