It says "metal laptop" $799.Anyone know if this is this a dv6tse, or if it is just made especially for Costco. Just what I'm looking for, and not a bad price really. Wonder if it has bluetooth? They show a dv6t beside it for $699, so I know that is the regular dv6t.......I called them, and they didn't know anymore than I did, anyone bought one of these?

Since it says metal laptop it is most likely a dv6tse

if it doesn't say it has bluetooth, then it most likely does not - when I got my first laptop form costco (a dv9543cl) the only way to configure it online was 4965AGN+Bluetooth, but mine had only 4965AGN, no bluetooth

With the chipset, it sounds like an SE. The only reason why I guess is because I was left wondering about mine when I bought it the other day form a Canadian Costco store. But I don't think the Argento finish is offered on anything else but an SE.

The thing with Costco I've found is that they've marketed pre-configured ones for their stores. If it doesn't have Bluetooth, it doesn't have it. I'm not sure if they actually have a "model number" for this one you're eying, and then cross-reference to specs online.

As for the dv6t you're seeing on costco.com, it looks like that one has integrated graphics and they're tossing in a wireless printer.

I asked the customer service chat people on HP site whats the difference between the SE (Special Edition) and the new HPDV6's ... The only difference they said is that SE's on the HP Site are configurable while the others are a standard build with predetermined specs. Both have the same metal body, same keyboard, (so far it appears you can only get a backlit from a configured SE) and the CPU would depend on how you configure it or which HP DV6 model you choose.

Thanks for your responses. I looked this morning and they have removed it from the site and replaced it with the black dv6t.

Actually you can get it cheaper right now ordering from HP with rebates. I just thought that one from Costco would have been a great buy without the wait if it had been correct.
