    i have huge cracked screen on my laptop.since i have another 7months warranty, i refer to the shop,then they suggest me to buy screen monitor instead of buying new screen for my laptop. i use compaq pesario CQ40. what r the best solution?

    You must realise that at the end of the day its your laptop Seceen that is important and it is for issues and problems like these that manufacturers place a warranty. So if the damage is covered under your current warranty, the first thing you must do is, utilize your warranty to get your laptop set right. the rest can wait.

    A normal warranty will not cover a cracked screen. It will only be replaced if you purchased an 'accidental damage' warranty.
