Hello, For some reason my Envy 17's delivery got delayed till monday, good news is that will arrive with the Crucial M4 SSD I bought.

I was reading the Owner - Guide to Initial Setup and they recommend to do the recovery disks and backup some folder ASAP. I was thinking what should I do?

First a question, does anyone knows if the Cloning Software that M4 comes with can boot? Can I do the cloning w/o going into windows?

IF I can, Can I just do my "first boot" into that software to clone the disk, then mount the SSD into the first bay and move the HDD to the second and boot normally?

Second Question, Do I need to do those partition align thing? I was reading in Google, and all those post are 1yr+ old.

Or should I just boot up normally, make my Recovery Disks/backup then:

Clone SSD then install it on first bay or Install SSD first bay and use the recovery disks?

Third Question If I use the recovery disks it will create the Recovery Partition on my SSD?

    Thanks in advance!
