    I'm pretty sure I read the thread on these forums a few months ago but it wasn't applicable to me at the time so I lost track of the thread but I seem to recall it mention using a simple resister to fool the HP laptop into accepting Power from the Dell power brick.

    Can someone with better searching skills help me locate the thread? I now have a 240w PSU intended for Dells I'd like to use
