Looking for a new notebook and the following have been recommended

    Compaq Presario V3532TU

    Compaq Presario V3519TU

    HP Pavilion DV2220TX

Does anyone have any views/reviews on these items. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could you give any preference as to what you are looking for? I.e. games, school, business.

The V3000 series are very similar to the V6000, of which I have a newly purchased V6412TU. I was considering buying the V3000 model in my country, but it was priced higher than the V6412, and the only difference was screen diameter and graphics card (I was originally wanting to use my laptop for games as well as school, but price put a burden on things, so I am left with a GMA 950 :( ). I have no knowledge of the Pavilion.

Basically, I recommend a V6000 for price and performance over a V3000, but its up to you according to what you want to use your laptop for of course.

Well...they still sell in New Zealand, but of course its a slightly different model. It still has nVidia 6150 though...better than my GMA 950 :(

Fill out an FAQ. Then list specs/price for each machine. You'll get a much better response.
