A few weeks ago i noticed that my mic was not working. Then last night I also noticed that my left speaker was not working. And for last little while it had been difficult to turn the system on, I had to push hard on the pwr button.

Well last night i discovered were the problem was. If I apply pressure on the Grid right above the power button, the speaker kicks in and the mic starts to work. Very strange.......My best guess it that something underneath must have warped due to the high temps of AMD processor. I hope it wont be away for long.

    Cheers!

That sucks! How is HP support when it comes to issues? I had to call them one time and the guy i was speaking to had such a strong dialect I had to hang up the phone. When I called Dell support I talked to a guy... who was speaking in plain English. I was amazed! :D

Hp Has been OK for support. I didn't call them for this issue but I usually try the online chat option before calling. I've had terrible expericies with Dell in the past with regards to the dialect. I think they are starting to imporve though.
