There have been a couple times I could not cold boot my hp6120t...pressed the power button, and nothing!
After taking out the battery and putting it back in, it would boot up right away, first try....only happened like this about 4-5 times over the last 6 months...Anyone else experience this? Loose battery maybe?

It could be the battery. Make sure that hte contacts are clean and that they are making a good contact with the terminals on the notebook itself. It may difficult to do the latter, however. It could also be a loose battery, so making sure that it doesn't move around in its bay, may be a place to start. If it does, then it may what is causing the problem.
