I noticed that my 6500 was losing too much hard drive space after my first Windows Update download. The update was only 56 Mb, but when everything was completed, I went to “my computer” and noticed that my (C : ) drive had lost 2 gigs. This did not happen to windows update installs only; I installed software for my TV tuner, my palm handheld, and other updates; none of them are over 200 Mb. I lost 6 gigs after I completed those installations. When I turned on my laptop this morning, i found out that it had lost another 3 gigs overnight. It seems like my hard drive is losing more hard drive space than it should be. I lost more than 12 gigs.
I’m wondering if anybody is experiencing the same problem as I am. Hopefully, someone will be able to help me with this.
