Hello I am experiencing a very weird technical difficulty!

About 3 days ago I was taking a video with a digital camera. When I was done, I brought it to my e14, plugged it in, and began watching it from the camera. It was working fine. I went on to do other things, and when I came back I found I had absolutely no sound in anything I did. I just cannot figure this out, I do not get speaker sound anywhere. Headphone sound still works!

    I have reinstalled drivers.
I have set the speakers and headphones to the default device.
    I have restarted my computer.
I have made sure they are not muted in any way.

Can anyone think of anything that could be causing this? Thanks.

No, I have actually also disabled almost all startup items so I have only the essentials left (I took care not to disable any necessary sound software).

Right click all options in "Sound" and click Test. Any work out of the speakers?

Hmm I am having hard time believing the speakers/hardware just blow out like that. Hopefully someone else might know a thing or two to fix this with Windows 7/software. Did you try uninstalling drivers and letting windows detect audio and install generic drivers?

This exact thing happened to me and there was another poster several weeks ago who has the same problem. I have still not found a solution so I might have to send it in :(
