I recently reinstalled windows. wow!!! it is running so much faster and boots up so much quicker. The fan noise seems to come on less often too.
ANYWAYS, I was able to get all of my internal accessories to work again (i.e. webcam, microphone, fingerprint reader and so on). The only problem i have now is that my Bluetooth device. I cannot connect my Bluetooth capable phone or any other Bluetooth capable devices with my laptop. The laptop detects my device, and vice versa, but it cannot connect. Every time i attempt to connect, my phone would give me a message saying "no service detected" and my laptop would say "connection fail." I went on the HP website and downloaded all of the necessary drivers.
Every time I click on the Bluetooth icon, a window pops it but it only has 4 option tabs on the top. Before I reinstalled windows, I notice that it has 8 or so tabs. That might have something to do with it.
Does anybody else have this problem? if so how did you fix it.
