I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue. I'm thinking maybe mine's just installed poorly so it rattles, but it really sounds like hell. When is gets up to max reading speed (or what I assume is max), it's loud enough that it drowns out whatever I'm playing from it... I may be exaggerating slightly, but it's pretty loud. It also seems a bit unresponsive sometimes. I guess I should call HP, but I REALLY don't want to send my computer to them for repair.

How hard would it be to reinstall myself? I'm assuming it's not easily accessible.

    Thanks
