    Loud HDD ?

    whenever doing like updating drivers when i reformmated my computer the cd-drive gives this sound out kinda like a speaker accessing noise is this normal?

    The hard drive or the DVD drive? Both of those produce some noise, which is normal but of course depends on the level/type of noise

    erm i meant cdrom drive its like a screech kinda thought it was coming from speakers at first but cddrive when accessing it alot when i was installing stuff off cdrom :eek:p

    My CD drive makes a lot of noise when I install stuff too. Mine even vibrates. It shouldn't be a problem as long as all your programs install and you can use the CD drive. :)
