I bought a laptop in a pc store in sweden for 8990 swedish crowns (1343 dollar). on the ad, it said: Great Gaming laptop.

When the computer arrived and i installed AVG and after that i installed Minecraft. It lags on even the lowest graphic settings and the FPS is on 20-30.

    Here are som computer specs:

    Memory: 8 Gb DDR3
Processor: Intel Core i7-2670QM 2.2 GHz
Graphic Card: AMD Radeon HD 6770M 2 Gb
Operation System: Windows 7 Home Premium

Shouldnt this computer max the settings?

I just got sent here from sweclockers...

if anyone understands swedish, heres a link: http://www.sweclockers.com/forum/67...-lag-fps-pa-maffig-gaminglaptop/#post12016793

Dynamic switching doesn't work for OpenGL games like Minecraft (i.e. you're using the Intel HD 3000, not the 6770M for your graphics). You need to set the switching to "Fixed" in the BIOS and then manually set the laptop to use the discreet card. If the option is not present in the BIOS, download the latest one from HP (there's a list in a stickied thread on top of this forum).
