I went to PC pitstop after I got all the software and such on my new laptop and the only error it gave was a low memory performance. I have 2 gigs of ram in the machine that runs at 667mhz. Its giving me a speed rating of 75% as compared to others with the same CPU and such. Anyone have an idea on why id get such a crappy speed ?

See how many processes are running and clear all the bloated software from OEM.

Cleaned all the crapware that came installed already. I think there are like 47 proccesses running. I belive most of it is standard stuff but not sure compared to other folks

I have 33 processes running on my V5000 with XP, 51 processes on my R4000 with Vista. The V5000 still has the SonicDVD & MoveeAutoproducer stuff from HP, the rest I got rid of. The R4000 has no HP bloatware.

Could it be saying I have low memory performance with a speed 75% of others just cause I have crap memory? I mean I have 2gigs in the machine. Im guessing if its 667mhz and such memory is memory to a degree right
