I recently purchased a DV6Tqe (with beats audio), and was curious if it is normal to hear a low buzzing static sound all the time? As long as it is plugged in, the low static sound appears. Wondering if the rest of you are getting the same results as i am, thanks a lot!

Tried 3 different earphones, which they all produce the low static sound where as my ipod does not have this problem.

Edit: My MBP does produce this low static sound too, so never mind guess its just something i have to deal with.

Sorry, I don't have that issue, although I started noticing it with my old Dell about a year ago. Your connection could be messed up as you're hearing static. Try going to audio option and making the default device the HDMI and switch back to using Speakers and Headphones as default. Also try to switch between Beats and non beats mode. (FN + B)
