    On my DV9220US

The RAM only gets a score of 4.3 whilst everything else is 4.7/4.8

I have 2 gig as well!

You might have sluggish ram - or one stick of RAM is limiting the overall performance by having lower specs compared to the other stick.

I wouldn't worry too much about the Win Experience Score. You seem to be doing well overall.

Well, list your specs so we can help you better. We don't have ESP!

I have a 9220us as well and got the same exact score. I was wondering about lower quality RAM but then I tried readyboost in Vista using a 1gb SD card in the card reader and my score went to 4.8! Go figure.

I thought about getting higher quality RAM and sell these 2 sticks on Ebay but with the increase from readyboost I'm satisfied.

I dislike the fact that I went out to buy a laptop with 2gig of RAM to handle vista when a SD card would have been cheaper.

Incidentally, what type of SD card are you using?

Since we have the same machine I seriously doubt we notice any hit from this memory score. That Vista Experience thing is a marketing tool anyway.
