Has anybody had any issues viewing MCE on their TV? I tried to connect to my TV via S-video and it works fine until I start MCE. Once I start MCE I see nothing and have to alt-F4 to close it so I can see again. Is there some minimal resolution requirements for MCE? I could watch movies in WMP on the TV no problem just when MCE started I got nothing. I hooked it up to a VGA monitor from the VGA port and it worked fine. Can you only use MCE from the VGA port? Just wondering what others have experienced with this and if I am missing something.

Sorry clarity is definitely needed here I will try to fill in the gaps.

    First Specs:
    dv6000t with
    T7200
    GeForce 7400
    2GB Ram
    Seagate 100GB 7200RPM HDD
    Windows Media Center Edition OS
Sorry don't know the specs on the TV right now but it is a SONY 36" WEGA Flat Panel that displays 640x480 and 32bit color without problems.

    Second Problem:
If I connect to my TV via S-video I can view my desktop on the TV be it single display, cloning or extending the desktop onto the TV. There is of course limitation with text from the resolution, but I can see it and use it. When I launch the media center i loss the picture on both the laptop display and the TV while cloning the displays. I did find that if I wasn't running it in fullscreen when the desktop was extended onto the TV I could drag the media center window over to the TV display and it showed up fine. However if I tried to maximize it on the TV display I would lose the picture on the TV display. I would have to close media center via alt-F4 and then the picture would come back.

I tried watching a movie in windows "media player" not "media center" while cloning with the TV as a second display and it showed up on the TV fine. So it works when it is not maximized on the TV but when it is maximized the screen gets all fuzzy with static lines and no picture.

I tried using a high resolution CRT monitor as the second display and it had no problems with media center being maximized so I am just wondering if I am missing a setting or if other people have experienced this same problem while running media center on their TV displays.

My thoughts are maybe media center doesn't support resolutions lower than 800x600. If so it is just my older TV model that is causing the problems. Is this true? thanks for any help
