Am I the only one seeing the base price at $899 and after hitting customize I see an instant saving of $300 plus the $50 rebate????
Maybe Hp just updated their website because previous offers of $200 instant savings were said to expire 11/18 so this is mis print possibly?
Someone verify this for me asap as Im tempted to purchase a dv9000t NOW as its a total of $350 off from regular price if this is NOT a mis print

Those addon specials some of them appear valid and some dont when u hit customize. Verify that also please.
This is simply amazing since yesterday all of these savings and free upgrades were roughly an additional $300 maybe $350

omg! not only that but unless this is also a mis print the dv9000z is showing up as $729.99 as the base price
verify this one too

Wow... and I thought my dv9008nr was a great deal. For a couple $hundred more I could have got a TL56 CPU, GeForce 7600, better screen, Bluetooth... oh well, I have my desktop for when I need serious power.
Check CompUSA's current ad, they have dv9009us's for $850 after rebate. Dealing with their $200 rebate is an annoyance though. -

Holy crap! The HP dv6000t seems to have a price drop, but it is not working when you customize the models for any of the HPs. Even though while you are customizing it says free upgrades for HD, Webcam, etc, it still makes you pay! I am sure they will fix that soon (hopefully!).

lol time to buy away?
-
but can someone confirm some of these specials are not free like the 100gb HD and the light scribe dvd rw drive upgrade?
Configure a dv9000t and you will see what I mean.
Also I think I was the first to catch all these specials and as I was loading the pages on the hp site it mentioned these will expire Nov 21st but now if I load the same pages there is no mention of when these will expire. Can anyone find the expiration date for these special offers? -
Oh forgot to say this but costco normally has anything HP will offer a tad cheaper and it is well worth the wait since costco claims to re offer the customizations for HP laptops on 11/24 but a question that still remains unanswerd is when do these specials from hp.com expire.

I think these specials will work all throughout December until after Christmas. The thing is, they are not savings right now because when you customize, it still costs the same amount even though it says free!

I can confirm that there is a glitch with HP's website. I ordered a dv9000t tonight and had to call HP to get a credit of $75 ($50 for HDD upgrade and $25 for lightscribe dvd burner upgrade). The one problem was that the csr could not give me a credit of the tax I paid on top of the $75. I had to speak to his supervisor, who could not give me a good reason why their system refuses to give me a credit of the tax. He promised that he will call me back tomorrow after he speaks to his supervisor ???
Neither the CSR nor the supervisor were aware of the problem with the website before my call, but they both confirmed it and have reported it. I read on fatwallet that other people had encountered the problem and had called in to get their credit already.
In any event, I think I got a really sweet deal:

I suppose thats good info but did they acknowledge that it will be fixed as if it was a mis print to say the HDD upgrade and lightscribe dvd burner were actually not supposed to be free?
Tell me as soon you as you can because I would like to jump on this incredible offer before they fix this if it turns out this was an actual mis print.
CompUSA and hopefully Costco.com get effected by this mis print incase HP decides to revise the offer and correct this if it really is a misprint as Im very tempted right now to buy this excellent laptop at the amazing price. -
I was just as surprised as you were because I too already had a dv9000t in my cart from the day before, but my session timed out and had to start over again.
I just checked HP's site and they fixed the free upgrade pricing mistake, but they increased the base price from $830 to $975 (for APP); my guess is they took away one of the instant rebates - I saw two of them yesterday for my order $150 for PC and $150 for notebook. Guess I ordered in time. -
Santa came to your house early this year.

There were definitely some errors on their web site yesterday, but they've been corrected now. I've been on the site daily for the past week, trying to decide whether to order or wait for the Costco site to come back. I re-priced yesterday when I saw the new free upgrades listed. I called HP, because the "free" upgrades were listed as costing $25 and $50. They explained to me that there were two mistakes going on: the free upgrades were not listed as free, and the $150 rebate was being double-posted. They basically told me I could order now and get the extra $150, or wait until they fixed it and get the free upgrades. Duh! I hit the order button as fast as my little hands would go! This is what I got for $1,044:
HP Pavilion dv9000t customizable Notebook PC

Maybe I could have pushed it a little further and tried to get the free upgrades, too, but I figured I did pretty well already. -

WTF HP! Now the price has just raised higher than before the awesome deals. Before the deals, there was a free upgrade to 1gb of ram and free upgrade to webcam, and now they both cost money!!! That is $65 for ram and $50 for webcam and finish. Instead, they put free optical drive upgrade and free $25 HD upgrade. Wow, that is so much better (not). They better change it back or I will be really pissed, and might end up going with Dell for my new laptop
-
Dam and now CompUSA fixed the add on their site too... oh well hopefully costco.com has some better deals on this on 11/24... they are going to be cheaper but a little but as for extra features who knows... will have to wait and see
Major Price drop on hp.com for dv9000t.. $899 but Im not sure?
