    Making recovery disks for g60 101( recovery manager reading disk as cd even though its a dvd-r 4.7gb

    hey guys im trying to make a a recovery disk for my hp g60-101 but when i put in a dvd-r it reads it as a cdr. the computer itself reads it as a dvd-r but the program to make the recovery disk(Recovery manager) is reading it as a Cd helppp

    Cancel out of recovery manager, go to the HP website, & look for updates for recovery manager. (Why they don't preload your disk image with the most current drivers etc., I just don't understand....). If that still doesn't work, call HP support, and tell them that you are unable to burn recovery disks.
