EDIT: Sorry, the title should read Mata, and not Mata!

Hi guys. The problem started a couple of weeks ago. My older dv6500t laptop with a Mata UJ-851s dvd-ram drive stopped reading certain cds/dvd! I know for a fact that many of the audio/data cd's/dvd's that don't work now used to be recognized before. Now we keep getting the "d:\ is not accessible" or "device i/o error". This happens with dvd's too at times. I know the drive is fine since it reads other cd's and also burns fine.

I remember a while back many people had this issue with the mata dvd drive and there was a fix for it, and I've searched high and dry all over the forum and google but can't find any solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
