My dvd burner that came with my hp dv4000 is listed in the title. I cannot find anywhere the stated max speed of burning dvds. If someone has this same burner or computer and knows what speed the max DVD burning is please tell me. Thanks

Run Nero 6.0+ and put in a blank DVD media, then go to Nero Toolkit and see what it detects. Your drive is just like mine..it depends on what kind of media it uses. But I think max read is 10x/ write is 8x for DVDrw and for CDrw its 24x.
