Apologies if this has been answered before, I did a search but did not find a 100% confirmed answer. The notebook came with 2gb, but I would like to upgrade to 4gb if this is possible (I know 32bit windows will only use 3.25gb).
Notebook is AMD based with latest bios. Thanks![]()

4GB(2x2) can be installed with one of the later BIOS updates, as it provided support for 2GB sodimms.

Thanks R4000. Any particular make I should go for?

I have two Crucial 2GB DDR2-667 SODIMMs in my dv9000z, same generation as the dv6095ea. Works great in 64-bit Vista. I highly recommend the brand.
Never assume that info from HP is accurate.
Maximum memory in dv6095ea?
