    i have this laptop and what is the maximum upgrade for the processor?
    my current cpu: mobile amd anthlon xp2800n+ 508 mhz

    As posted in the Maintenance & Service Guide found here, it looks like the listed maxium processor for the 2100 is a P4 20GHz (Northwood). Unfortunately, the manual also indicates that the CPUs in these notebooks are "not user replaceable".

    Fun Project though!
