I never had this problem before! I can't connect to the net anymore.
I tried uninstalling my wireless network to see if when i rebooted the machine it would fix it, but nothing. The error I get is when do command prompt>ipconfig, It used to show me IP, DSN ect... now all I get Ethernet adapter wireless network connection 3:
Media state.......: Media disconnected??? I don't get it. It was working fine the day before. I tried downloading drivers and that didn't work either.
    I'm lost!! Please help!

Do you have WiFi in the tray.

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not sure what that is. In the tray I just have the little monitor (now with a red x on it). When I refresh the (search network list) nothing comes up, it says that there's nothing available.

Asking a question is the first step to being a loud mouthed know-it-all. Anything going on before it stopped working like installing software or making some other change? Can you see the card in device manager and does it say it works properly? You might want to take it to another network to see if works if you can. Do you have a firewall? If you can, you might want update the firmware on the router.

So that my small brain is able to comprehend what you just said....you know about the ipconfig command in the dos prompt yet you do not know what "Wifi in the tray" means? Interesting.

Check to see if the drivers for your wi-fi card are installed
