    Hello all,

I want to upgrade the RAM on my girlfriend's HP Pavilion zx5170. I surfed the web and most sites say that it has two slots and that the maximum possible RAM is 2 GB. However, when opening up the computer, I can only see one accessible RAM slot. I already put 1 GB there (the total RAM is now 1.25 GB) but we would really like to put 2 GB.

Can someone tell us how to access the other RAM slot?

    Thanks in advance!

The second slot should be located under the keyboard. HP should have the service manual online detailing the steps necessary to remove the keyboard to access the second slot.

They also have video instructions here...

Quick reply, simple enough, to the point, provided references to material, solved the problem.

    +rep to you ;)
