I originally posted this in wireless and networking forum but with no reply's I'm moving it here.

Hello folks I just bought a v2000 and I'm really impressed with it so far. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get my wireless router to work well with my V2000's intel 2200bg wifi card. It sometimes connects with my network but says connection is low- so low that it won't even load a page. Any known compatibility issues with these components? Is there a patch I can download that may fix the problem? I've searched around but haven't found anything. Also, I know these machines are known to have poor video cards but I played Need For Speed Underground and it worked great. I'm not a gamer at all though so I'm just wondering.... what kinds of games are too much for the v2000's video card? Would it be possible to play Half Life 2? Thanks.

Have you updated the router software?

Are you sure you are connected to your router? In my neighbour hood I have more than half a dozen wireless signals and most of them without WEP. If you have a setting wrong you might not see your router but somebody elses, thus having a very weak signal.

    You are very right.

I surfed on my neighbhor's network for a month, before I bought my own router and he never noticed it [ :D]
